PhD Participatory Research Network

Created by and for PhD students: a space to share knowledge, navigate challenges, and strengthen participatory approaches in our research.

The PhD Participatory Research Network aims to:

  • Connect PhD students across disciplines and institutions who are interested in or conducting participatory research.
  • Provide a safe, collaborative space to share challenges and practical solutions.
  • Learn from each other’s approaches and experiences.
  • Explore how participatory values can be meaningfully embedded in PhD-level projects.

Our network is co-organised by PhD students across King’s College London, Queen Mary University of London, and Imperial College London. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month, from 2pm-4pm at King’s College London and welcome any PhD student interested in participatory approaches.

If you are interested in joining our network, please email Emma to join our mailing list and keep up to date with upcoming events: e.hayashibara@qmul.ac.uk.
